Cookie Policy

This document is available in English and Spanish. In case of any discrepancy between the two versions, the Spanish version prevails.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as sessionStorage, keep data in your browser in the same way. This policy explains which ones NoHold Checkout uses, under Spain's LSSI-CE (art. 22.2) and the GDPR.
2. Our website and dashboard
Our marketing website uses no analytics or advertising cookies. The dashboard uses one strictly necessary cookie, which needs no consent:
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
sc_session | Keeps you logged in to the dashboard, securely (HttpOnly). | 30 days, or until you log out | Own, strictly necessary |
When you manage your subscription, Stripe's pages may set their own cookies, governed by Stripe's policy.
3. Checkout pages
On the checkout pages of stores that use NoHold Checkout:
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
sc-timer:… | sessionStorage entry that remembers when the store's countdown ends, so a reload doesn't restart it. Never sent to us. | Until you close the tab | Own, functional |
nohold_consent | localStorage entry that remembers whether you accepted or declined the store's pixels, so the banner doesn't ask on every page. | Until you clear your browser's site data | Own, necessary to record your choice |
nohold_ev_… | sessionStorage entry, only when the store uses pixels, so a reload doesn't send the same ad event twice. | Until you close the tab | Own, functional |
_fbp | Meta Pixel: measures the store's Meta ads. | Set by Meta (usually 90 days) | Third party, advertising, only with consent |
_fbc | Meta Pixel: remembers the ad click that brought you. | Set by Meta (usually 90 days) | Third party, advertising, only with consent |
_ttp | TikTok Pixel: measures the store's TikTok ads. | Set by TikTok (usually 13 months) | Third party, advertising, only with consent |
_gcl_au, _ga, _ga_* | Google Ads and Google Analytics: measure the store's ads and visits. | Set by Google (90 days to 2 years) | Third party, advertising / analytics, only with consent |
The pixels (Meta, TikTok, Google) load only if the store has connected them and, where consent is required, only after you accept them in the cookie banner. By default the banner is shown to shoppers in the EU/EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland; the store can choose to show it to everyone or, under its own responsibility, turn it off. Purchase events the store sends to these platforms from our servers follow the same choice. Their exact cookies and durations are decided by each provider. The store is responsible for these pixels; see the section for shoppers of our Privacy Policy.
Checkout pages also load fonts from Google Fonts. That doesn't set cookies, but Google receives your IP address to serve the font.
4. Consent and how to withdraw it
On the checkout, the banner lets you accept or decline the store's pixels. Declining has no effect on your purchase. To withdraw a consent you gave, delete this site's cookies and site data in your browser settings: that removes your saved choice and the pixels' cookies, and the banner will ask you again. You can also block cookies in your browser, although strictly necessary ones are needed for the dashboard to work.
